'Blind Spot'

You exist in the place i'd approach you from at night,
with a drop to help your eye.
My comparative anosmia
similarly creates a panoramic misty movie.

The windshield's bigger than the rear-view mirror
and the elizabethan collar is in place.
and so I can't make a turn or slow down
lest someone get hurt.
And so I keep on driving.
